iJ-v1 Book Nook Glass Table

Designed to celebrate the intersection of mass and transparency, this piece centers on the profound depth of 1/2" (13mm) glass. By choosing a thickness far beyond standard coffee tables, I wanted the glass to have a physical presence that commands the room.

The glass is suspended between two handcrafted solid wood frames, creating an illusion of weightlessness. This "floating" design leaves the edges entirely unobstructed; when the light catches the thick-cut perimeter, it reveals a prismatic depth—like peering into a whole new universe. The frames serve a dual purpose: providing structural integrity and acting as minimalist bookshelves for your favorite volumes, allowing the legs to either blend into your library or stand as pure geometric forms.
